Ending s.195 prevention duty - refused suitable accommodation & reasonable prospect of 6 months' accommodation

A template letter for ending the homelessness prevention duty where:

  • the applicant has refused an offer of suitable accommodation, and
  • on the date of refusal there was a reasonable prospect that suitable accommodation would be available for the applicant for at least six months (s.195(8)(d)).
