A letter requesting that a council, which is undertaking a section 202 homelessness review, secures interim temporary accommodation for your client pending the outcome of the review.

The template lists the factors that the council must consider as part of the 'Mohamed balancing exercise'.

The letter asks the authority to respond by a certain time and also requests that your client's housing and homelessness application records are disclosed to enable you to make representations in connection with the review.

Note:

If the need for accommodation is urgent this request should be sent in the form of a letter before claim, in accordance with the judicial review pre-action protocol.
