When a homeless applicant has requested a review of a homeless decision under section 85 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014, the local authority must usually notify the applicant of its review decision within 8 weeks of when they received the review request.
This deadline can only be extended if the applicant and reviewing officer agree in writing to an extension.
This letter enables you to request an extension. A short form is also enclosed to enable the applicant to confirm their agreement.
