Complaint to Ombudsman - covering letter
A letter to the Ombudsman complaining about a council, and asking him/her to investigate.
Note that you will also need to enclose a completed complaint form, which is available from the Ombudsman's website.
This letter includes an optional section that asks the Ombudsman to exercise their power to investigate early. This can be used when the council has not resolved your formal complaint within their published timescale/deadline.
