Ending the section 66 homelessness prevention duty - because accommodation is available for 6 months

A letter for ending the prevention duty under section 66 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014 because:

  • the applicant is no longer likely to become homeless within 56 day
  • the applicant has suitable accommodation that is available to occupy, and
  • the accommodation is likely to be available to the applicant for at least six months.

The letter includes an extended section on suitability which may be abridged.
