Ending the section 211 protection of property duty because the property has been moved as per the homeless applicant's request

Where a local authority ceases to be under a duty to protect a homeless applicant's belongings under section 211 of the Housing Act 1996, they must notify the applicant that the duty has ended, and give reasons for the duty ending.

This letter enables you to provide this 'discharge of duty' notification, where the duty has ended because the applicant asked the council to move their belongings to a specific location.
