A letter for notifying a homeless applicant that:

• you are no longer pursuing a local connection referral that was previously requested under section 198(A1) of the Housing Act 1996
• you therefore owe the applicant the relief duty (a duty to help them secure accommodation under section 189B(2) of the 1996 Act)

but:

• you're not accepting the interim accommodation duty under section 199A(4)(c) of the 1996 Act, because you do not have reason to believe that the applicant may have a priority need.
