Minded to end the section 93 protection of belongings duty because there's no longer danger of loss or damage to the homeless applicant's property

This 'minded to' letter enables you to give a homeless applicant advance warning that you're considering ending the duty to protect their belongings under section 93 of the Housing (Wales) Act 2014.

Use the letter when you're considering ending the duty because there's no longer danger of the applicant's property being lost or damaged, eg because the applicant now has accommodation where s/he can take back delivery of their possessions, or because they now have the funds to pay for storage.

The letter warns the applicant of the consequences of not making arrangements to collect or take back delivery of their belongings, and sets out their options.  The letter can be used in conjunction with the Protection of Belongings Agreement.
