A letter to a housing applicant confirming your offer to pay a tenancy deposit, and confirming the terms on which this offer is being made.

For use when using homelessness prevention fund money to secure a private tenancy for someone who's homeless or threatened with homelessness.

The applicant is informed of the basic terms on which the deposit is being offered, including the fact that the deposit money remains the Council's property, and that they are responsible for reimbursing the council if the landlord makes any legitimate deductions.
