Requesting housing benefit is paid directly to you because you're unwilling to grant a tenancy unless benefit is paid direct (no current tenancy)

A letter asking the housing benefit office to confirm whether they would be willing to pay a prospective tenant's housing benefit directly to you.

Use this letter only if you have yet to grant a tenancy, and you're requesting a decision so you can decide whether to grant a tenancy.

Note that there is a different letter available where you are unwilling to offer a replacement tenancy to an existing tenant unless housing benefit is paid directly to you.
