Section 202 homeless review - adverse decision notification letter (generic version)

A letter for notifying a section 202 review decision to a homelessness applicant.

Use this letter when the decision is adverse to the applicant's interests, i.e. you are upholding the initial decision, or otherwise making a negative decision.

Note: the letter provides a generic template for all types of review decision. It therefore does not, for example, include sections specifically relating to priority need, intentional homelessness, how the duties may be ended etc.

You may however:

  • Look in 'Related Documents' to see if there's a more appropriate letter, or
  • Cut and paste sections from the other homelessness decision letters (e.g. s.184 decisions and discharge of duty decisions) that are available in the Resources section.
