A covering letter for sending copies of the assessments you have carried out in connection with a homeless applicant (under section 189A of the Housing Act 1996) to another local housing authority, when the other council has accepted a local connection referral under section 198(A1) of the 1996 Act.

The letter includes an optional additional paragraph, to include when the applicant has given consent to you also forwarding a copy of their housing plan(s) and/or housing file.
