A 'relevant warning' notice under section 193B(5) of the Housing Act 1996.
Use this letter to warn a homeless applicant that the council is considering ending the s.195(2) prevention duty because he or she has failed to co-operate, i.e. they have deliberately and unreasonably failed to carry out a mandatory step which is contained in their housing plan.
The applicant must be given a reasonable period of time following this notice to carry out the steps. It is suggested in the letter that at least 14 days is given.
Alternative letters are available if you want instead to warn the applicant that the following duties may end because of non-cooperation:
